EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Location: Northbrook, IL (Onsite) | Full-Time

Our diversified product line includes PCB assemblies, prototypes, electronic modules, LED lighting, switches, resistors, sensors, and HVAC controls.
We have an immediate job opportunity for an Equipment Maintenance and Assembly Technician at our corporate office location in Northbrook, IL. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and life insurance, and paid time off.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Assemble and install new equipment and ensure proper setup and integration into manufacturing processes.
- Keep detailed records of machine service histories.
- Analyze machine operations and output to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
- Provide training and guidance to other technical staff when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
- High school diploma required; education or certification in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies.
